There is free street parking around the building. Opt to carpool or Lyft/Uber!
The ramp to the main entrance is on the north side of the building with direct access from the parking lot. Please note cars cannot be left in the lot overnight.

This year’s theme is Disco Rodeo!
Showcase your unique style with sunset and goldish hues, floral patterns, or anything that makes you feel grounded and gorgeous. Don’t forget your Okra Hat, of course! Learn more here>

Checking In
All we need is the name of the registration!
Pearls and Snap Peas are in order for the 11th annual OkraFest! Bust out the boots, sequins, electric colors for another fabulous year.
If you haven’t provided the names, guests can mention your name at check in. Please note the number of seats you have based on your registration!

OkraHat Competition
At registration, you’ll be asked if you want to participate in the friendly competition! You’ll be given a numbered sticker to place on your accessory.
Several secret judges will spend the night covertly assessing everyone’s fashion. Before the night is over, several winners will be announced. Fame and adoration will follow.

Raffle, Wine Pull, & Live Auction
Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with thrilling games of chance, exclusive finds, and delectable surprises with our raffles and wine pull.

Get Home Safely
At the end of the evening, you can schedule a Safe Ride home with with one of our volunteer concierges.

No. While it’s obviously the primary theme, we want you to wear a chapeau inspired by okra, summer produce, nature, agriculture, summer in Galveston—whatever speaks to you! However, if you hope to win a prize in the competition, there must be okra incorporated into your fashion somewhere.

No! Make a purse, a necklace, a suit! The whole point is to have fun and be utterly unserious.
